I do not know why, but when I see an old watch, the first thought is how to restore it. I am feeling bad when I see online an article how to make jewellery of old watches. My watch master was very surprised when I asked to repair the old watch Zvezda made in 1956. He was surprised even more when I told him that I will wear it.
I am wearing my old Zvezda at least two years and I am very happy with it. I bought this Zvezda at the flea market in Vilnius. A strange feeling was just seen this watch, I wanted to touch it and was so pleasure to hold it in my hand. My next watch is Era 50s. It is my coctail watch. It is a simple and very nice watch.
I love old Soviet watches, they are part of history and will never be produced the watch marked ‘Made in USSR’ or ‘Сделанно в СССР’.
By the way, someone produces a Soviet watches. It is bad falsification. The “Vostok Komandirskie “picture was sent to me from reddit and asked to tell about it. Unfortunately, I could only draw up marks that indicate this watch is not original. So I will continue my writing and will share about Soviet watches. Now I’m going to write about signs of Soviet watches brands which were marked on the mechanism of watch. Sometimes they can be seen very clearly, sometimes they can be seen only with a magnifying glass.
